Description:

  • summary: Best time series, taking the data from the most recent run available.
  • rights: Freely available
  • summary: The High Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR) is a NOAA real-time 3-km resolution, hourly updated, cloud-resolving, convection-allowing atmospheric model, initialized by 3km grids with 3km radar assimilation. Radar data is assimilated in the HRRR every 15 min over a 1-h period adding further detail to that provided by the hourly data assimilation from the 13km radar-enhanced Rapid Refresh. The HRRR dataset is subset geographically to bound the Doppio domain. Data is sourced from an Amazon Web Servivecs S3 bucket(https://registry.opendata.aws/noaa-hrrr-pds/0). This S3 bucket is maintained by the University of Utah MesoWest group and onsists of a set of cloud-friendly ZARR files (https://mesowest.utah.edu/html/hrrr/). The zarr-formatted HRRR data is maintained at s3://hrrrzarr/.
